Mexican dishes are really delicious because if its special flavors. Of course chili, it is a staple in Mexican food.  There are many types of chili’s used in Mexican dishes like serrano, spicy jalapeno  and  ancho.  The spiciness of chili’s can be used to add flavors in soups, salsa, salads and  other dishes. They can be  used  in the  form of  smoked, fresh, dried, powdered or whole.

Beans:

It is a widely used ingredient in Mexican dishes. Pinto beans  and  black beans  are often used to  make dishes like bean soups, bean salads and others.

Tomatoes:

Tomatoes are used fresh, in salads. Salsa is used as topping for  tacos, burritos and nachos. There also are cooked  and canned  tomatoes that can be used to add flavor to soup, rice  and salads.

Corn:

Mexicans have been using it for centuries in their dishes, it is a good source of nutrition. Ground corn is  used for  tortilla chips, corn  tortillas and masa.

Cheese:

Mexican cheese  like Queso Blanco,  Queso Fresco and Panela are awesome additions to enchiladas and quesadillas. Mexicans also used United States Jack Cheese because it goes well with the Mexican ingredient.

Mole:

Is pronounced as  ‘moh-lay’ and is an  unusual ingredient that adds flavor  to Mexican dishes. It’s made out of 30 different spices with the  addition of cocoa and peanut  butter. Putting this in your dish will add rich flavors because of its ingredients.
