Bhindi is quite popular in the whole of Indian sub-continent. It is also called, “Okra”. Bhindi is prepared in various ways and preferred by most of the Indians. We provide you with steps to help you prepare Bhindi masala. Follow the steps carefully and reach out to your favorite dish easily.
Take bhindis and wash them thoroughly. Chop them into small pieces.
Take a mixer and grind ginger, spices and ½ of onions in it.
Now add this mixture to the yogurt. Add water and mix them well together to make a paste.
Take a non-stick skillet and heat it. Pour oil on it and heat till the oil becomes hot. Add the remaining onions and fry onions till they become light brown on a moderate flame.
Put the yogurt paste and stir continuously. Fry it for 5-7 minutes. Cook till oil separates and a mesh texture comes.
Now add bhindi (lady finger) and mix well. Add the remaining water and let it cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Cover it with a lid while cooking.
Bhindi is ready to be served. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
