Learn how to prepare delicious chicken Chardonnay by following this simple, step by step recipe.
Chicken breasts, boned and skinned: 2 (6 oz.)
Butter: 2 tbsp.
Chardonnay (or other dry white wine): 1/4 cup.
Shallots, chopped: 2 tbsp.
Fresh mushrooms, sliced: 1 cup.
Veg. oil: 1 tbsp.
Lemon juice: 1 tbsp.
Heavy cream: 1/4 cup.
1Beat chicken flat and set aside.
2Heat the butter in a pan then sauté shallots, add mushrooms and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
3 Add wine and lemon juice. Allow it to simmer for 6 to 7 minutes.
4Coat chicken in flour and season with pepper and salt if desired.
5Sauté it in oil in a frying pan.
6Add cream to mushroom mixture and heat until it boils
7Now on serving plates, place mushrooms over chicken breasts.
8Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
