Chicken Cutlets

Learn how to prepare delicious chicken cutlets by following this simple, step by step recipe.

Add to favorites:


Boiled, boneless chicken (or canned chicken chunks): 26 oz.

Onion chopped very fine: 1 medium sized

Mint leaves, finely chopped: 2 tsp

Sooji (semolina) or corn four: 1/2 cup.

Cooking oil: to shallow fry.

Green chillies, finely chopped:2

Garlic paste: 1 tsp

Ginger paste: 1 tsp

Eggs: 2

Coriander seeds powder: 1/2 tsp

Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp

Aamchur powder (raw mango powder): 1/4 tsp

Garam masala: 1/2 tbsp.

Salt to taste

Coriander, finely chopped: 1/2 cup

Lemon juice: 2 tsp.


1In a large bowl, cut the boiled chicken into small cubes and shred finely.

2In another, combine chopped onion, mint leaves, garlic paste, ginger paste, coriander seeds powder (dhaniya), cumin powder, aamchur powder, garam masala, salt as per taste, chopped coriander, minced green chillies and eggs. Beat it thoroughly.

3Now add this mix to the shredded chicken and mix well till all the ingredients are blended perfectly.

4Take semolina or corn flour in a plate.

5Make small balls of the chicken mixture and flatten it or cast it in any other shape.

6Meanwhile heat oil in a pan for shallow frying.

7Coat the chicken in the semolina well on both sides.

8Now shallow fry a few cutlets it till turns golden brown and crisp on both sides.

9Drain it on paper towels.

10Serve warm with mint Chutney or tomato ketchup.

11You can also use it as a sandwich filling.
