Halloween Chocolate Pumpkin Cake

This recipe makes a wonderful Halloween dessert recipe because it combines things adults love and things children love.

Ingredients

1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix

1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil

3 Eggs

1/3 cup Sugar

1/2 cup Milk

1 teaspoon Pumpkin Spice

1 can of Frosting of your choice

1 cup Mini chocolate chips

1 cup Nuts of your choice (chopped)

Candy Corn bag

Directions

The first step is to preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. While you are waiting for your oven to heat up to the proper temperature for cooking, you should grease and flour yourself a cake pan to be prepared.

Bust out your blender and mix your vegetable oil, pumpkin, sugar, eggs and milk until they have become a smooth unified mixture. Begin to mix in the chocolate cake mix you bought and mix until it becomes smooth. This should take no longer than 3 minutes. When the cake mix is mixed in you should continue to add chocolate chips and the chopped nuts if you please.

Pour the mixed cake batter into the cake pan and then bake it for 25 to 30 minutes. You should do the toothpick test to determine if the cake is done or not. When finished, remove from the oven and cool.

Once your Halloween cake has cooled down be sure to frost the cake with whatever chocolate or vanilla frosting you purchased. You can then sprinkle candy corns onto the wet frosting before it hardens so they will become embedded.
