Low Fat Pancakes Recipe

 3 cups sour milk
 1 egg
 3 tablespoons sugar
 1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder or bicarbonate of soda
  1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  3 cups flour
  1 tablespoon sunflower seed oil

1

Put the sour milk in a large bowl.

2

Beat the egg into the sour milk, then add sugar and salt, and whisk it all.

3

Whisk in the baking powder and vanilla sugar.

4

Then start pouring in the flour. Do it slowly and mix at the same time. You can add more flour if you see that the batter is too liquid. It should be somewhat thick but still pourable.

5

As soon as you finish you can use a stick blender to break up the lumps and get a smooth batter.

6

Add half tablespoon oil to the batter and mix properly.

7

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

8

Take a half of a paper towel sheet and moisten with the rest oil. Rub the skillet with the oiled paper towel carefully.

9

Put a tablespoon of batter in the skillet. If the skillet is large enough you can place up to 4-5 pancakes onto it at the same time. Cook them until some bubbles appear on the top surface.

10

Flip with a spatula and cook for 2 minutes more until the underside gets brown.

11

Transfer the ready pancakes to a big plate.

12

Repeat the above process with the remaining batter.
