Apple Crumble Pie Recipe

Ingredients

 1 Unbaked Pie shell, 9-inch
 6 cups peeled Apple Slices
 1/2 cup Cane Sugar
 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
 1/8 teaspoon Salt
 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice (optional)
Toppings:
 1/4 cup Cane Sugar
 1/3 cup All-Purpose Flour
 1/3 cup Oatmeal
 2 tablespoons Butter
 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts (or pecans)

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Add apple slices to large mixing bowl. Combine sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt in small mixing bowl. Sprinkle sugar mixture over apple slices.

Spoon apple slices into pie shell.

Combine cane sugar, all-purpose flour, oatmeal, butter and walnuts in small mixing bowl.

Sprinkle topping over apples.

Bake 45 minutes until apples are bubbly, and topping is golden brown.
