Apricot Bars Recipe

Ingredients

 1 pk. Yellow cake mix
 1/4 c. Water
 1/4 c. Softened margarine or butter
 1/4 c. Packed brown sugar
 2 Eggs
 1 c. Dried apricots, cut-up
 Powdered sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Grease and flour jelly roll pan.

In a bowl, with the help of an electric mixer beat 1/2 of the cake mix, add water, brown sugar, butter and eggs. You can as well beat the mixture with a spoon. Stir in apricots and the remaining cake mix. Spread evenly in a pan.

Bake 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let it cool completely.

On top sprinkle a little bit of powdered sugar. Cut into 6 rows by 5 rows and serve.
