Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients

 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour
 1tbsp. + 1 1/2 tsp white sugar
 1.5 tsp. baking powder
 3/4 tsp. baking soda
 1/4 tsp. salt
 1.5 cups buttermilk
 1/4 cup milk
 2 eggs
 2 tbsp. + 2 tsp. butter, melted

Directions

1

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

2

Next, in a separate bowl, beat the eggs, milk, buttermilk, and butter together. Keep them separate for now.

3

In a large frying pan or griddle, turn the heat up to medium-high. Wait until the pan is really hot before doing anything else. You can use butter or oil to cook the pancakes.

4

Once the pan is really hot mix together the wet into the dry ingredients. You will want to just blend them together. Do not stir too much, there should be lumps.

5

Oil or butter your pan. Then, take a 1/2 measuring cup and scoop out the pancakes and plop them onto the pan. Let them cook until they start bubbling, and then flip them over. They should be nice and brown. Continue cooking for a bit then flip over again to verify doneness.

6

Put them on a plate, add your favorite topping and serve.
