Caramel Apples Recipe

Ingredients

 8 Apples
 8 Popsicle sticks
 12 pk. (14 ounce each) creamy caramels
 2 tablespoons Water
 3/4 c. Chopped pistachios
 3 oz. Semisweet chocolate

Directions

Coat baking sheet with cooking spray.

Remove apple stems and insert Popsicle stick into steam of each apple.

Put creamy caramels in a medium size saucepan. Add water and heat, stirring until caramels are melted.

Dip one apple at the time into the caramel and turn to coat the apple. Remove apple and softly shake. Place the apple on prepared sheet and pat pistachios on top. Refrigerate until caramel is cool.

In a double boiler heat chocolate, until melted. Pour the melted chocolate over apples. Refrigerate to let the chocolate harden.
