Chili Con Carne Recipe

Ingredients

 1/2 Cup Red Onion chopped
 1 Garlic Clove, minced
 Vegetable Oil
 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
 2 Cans Cream of Tomato Soup, undiluted
 1 Can Kidney Beans, (16 ounces), undrained
 1 to 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt, to taste

Directions

In a large iron or a heavy skillet, sauté the onion and garlic.

If necessary, use a small amount of oil.

Add the beef and sauté until well done, stirring occasionally.

Drain.

Add the beans, chili powder, salt and soup.

Mix well.

Cover and cook slowly for 1 hour, stirring to prevent sticking.

In order to maintain a good simmer, use the lowest heat setting.
