Chinese Pork Chow Mein Recipe

Ingredients

 4 boneless pork chops thin sliced
 3 tablespoons oil
 1/2 cup carrots in matchstick pieces
 1/2 cup celery sliced into 1/2″ pieces
 1/2 cup mushrooms sliced
 1/4 cup green onions sliced into 1″ pieces
 1/2 teaspoon ginger
 1-1/4 cup chicken stock
 1-1/4 cup fresh bean sprouts
 2 tablespoons cornstarch
 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions

Heat wok with 1-1/2 tablespoon of oil to 400F, stir fry pork strips until no longer pink about 2-3 minutes. Do not over crowd wok.

Remove pork to a bowl. In wok add 1-1/2 tablespoon oil. Add celery, carrots, mushrooms, green onions, and ginger. Stir fry about 2 minutes.

Add pork, 1 cup of stock and bean sprouts, stir fry 1 minute.

In a cup mix cornstarch, 1/4 cup stock, and soy sauce. Add to wok. Cook until thick and heated through.

Serve over rice with crunchy noodle on top.
