Chinese Pork Strips Recipe

Ingredients

 1 pound boneless pork cut into 1-1/2 inch strips
 1 teaspoon minced garlic
 4 tablespoons soy sauce
 1 egg, slightly beaten
 2 tablespoons cornstarch
 1 tablespoon sherry
 2 tablespoons vinegar
 1/2 cup peanut oil
 1 green pepper cut into thin strips
 1/2 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
 4 green onions sliced into 1″ pieces

Directions

Mix pork, 1/2 teaspoon garlic, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, egg, cornstarch and sherry in a bowl, set aside to blend flavors.

In small bowl mix remaining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and vinegar; set aside.

Heat oil in a wok to 400F and add pork mixture; stir-fry until pork loses pinkness, about 2-3 minutes. Remove meat and set aside.

Drain oil from wok all but 1 tablespoon. Add green pepper, red pepper flakes remaining 1/2 teaspoon garlic and green onions to wok. stir fry about 1 minute.

Return pork to wok; add vinegar mixture; stir-fry about 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
