Crab Napoleons Recipe

Ingredients

 1 Frozen Puff Pastry Sheet
 1 package (8 ounces) Cream Cheese, softened
 1 tablespoon Milk
 1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
 1 tablespoon Prepared Horseradish
 6-8 ounces Fresh Crabmeat drained
 4 Scallions, sliced
 1/2 cup sliced Almonds
 Paprika

Directions

Allow pastry to thaw to room temperature.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Using a 2” cookie cutter cut 12 circles.

Place circles equal distance apart on baking sheet.

Bake pastry until golden brown, about 15 minutes.

Cool baking sheet on wire rack.

Add cream cheese to a large mixing bowl, and mash until smooth.

Stir in milk, pepper, horseradish, and crabmeat.

Split the pastries into 2 layers making 24 circles.

Spread crabmeat mixture on 12 bottom pastry circles.

Top with scallions, sliced almonds, and top pastry circles.

Sprinkle with paprika.
