Gnocchi Gratinée: Tomato Sauce and Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

 1/2 Gnocchi recipe
 1 1/2 – 2 cups tomato sauce: homemade or store-bought
 1/2 cup grated Mozzarella cheese
 2 – 3 tbsp finely grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Directions

In an ungreased 9 – 10-inch round, or square, ceramic baking dish, place: tomato sauce, cooked Gnocchi and 1 tablespoon cheese: toss well.

Bake the dish on the lowest rack level, in a 425’F. preheated oven, for 10 minutes, or until the sauce bubbles.

Top with Mozzarella cheese and then bake for 3 – 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and lightly browned.

Serve with extra grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.
