Boil ½ gallon of water the stove.
Put the sugar into a half gallon canning jar and pour half of the boiling water over it. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Put the tea bags into the half gallon canning jar, and add the remaining part of the boiling water into the jar. The jar will be full of hot water now.
Then let steep until the hot water returns to room temperature.
Pour ½ of the steeped tea into another ½ gallon canning jar, and add ½ gallon of room temperature water to each jar, and stir them well.
Store them in the fridge.
