Kung Pao Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
 1 tbsp. cornstarch
 2 tbsp. sesame oil/ veg. oil
 3 green onion chopped
 2 garlic cloves, minced
 A pinch of powdered ginger
 2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
 2 tbsp. soy sauce
 2 tsp. sugar
 1/3 cup dry roasted peanuts
 4 cup cooked rice
 Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

Directions

Combine water and cornstarch in a small bowl.

Now coat chicken cubes with cornstarch mixture.

Heat oil in a skillet.

Now stir-fry the coated chicken for 5-7 minutes.

Now keep the fried chicken aside.

In the same skillet add onion, garlic, red pepper and ginger.

Stir-fry for 15 seconds.

Now combine vinegar, soy sauce and sugar in a small bowl.

Add the above mixture to the skillet.

Put fried chicken in the skillet and stir well for around 30 seconds so that it absorbs all the ingredients.

Serve with rice or Indian bread (roti).
