Light Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

 2 cups of Bisquick or Pioneer baking mix
 2 teaspoons of sugar
 1 tablespoon of melted butter
 1/4 teaspoon of salt
 2/3 cups of buttermilk

Directions

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Mix all ingredients together well.

Turn out onto floured surface and knead for about 1/2 minutes or until dough becomes elastic.

Roll dough out to about 3/4 inch thick and cut biscuits with a cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet, and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven and brush lightly with melted butter. My family loves the taste of these light biscuits.
