Ingredients
4 pounds white potatoes, see notes
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup 2% milk, or table cream, warmed
6 tbsp sweet butter (unsalted), melted and kept warm
1- 3 tsp chicken base powder
salt and white pepper to taste
a few sprigs of parsley, finely chopped
Directions

Weigh, peel and wash potatoes; cut into 1 inch cubes.

Drop into pot of boiling water and then add in 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Boil on medium heat, uncovered, for about 20 – 25 minutes, or until cooked.

Potatoes should be covered with at least two inches of water when being boiled.
