Mushroom Soup Recipe

Ingredients

 1.5 cups chopped mushrooms
 1 onion diced
 2tblsp diced celery
 1 clove garlic chopped
 2tblsp butter
 1tblsp all-purpose flour
 1 cup milk
 2 tbsp cream
 2 tsp black pepper powder
 Salt to taste

Directions

Heat butter in a heavy bottomed pan and add garlic. Now add mushrooms, onion and celery.

Sauté for 4-5 minutes and add flour.

Mix well and slowly add milk mixing continuously to avoid lumps.

Add cream, salt and pepper and cook covered for 15 minutes on medium flame.

Now turn off the flame and puree the soup in a blender.

If you want a smooth soup strain it or enjoy with little chunks.

Cooking tip: Adjust the quantity of milk as per your preferred consistency.
