Mutton Sukka Recipe

Ingredients

 Mutton (lamb), cut up: 18 oz.
 Veg. Oil: 4 tbsp.
 Chopped onion: 2
 Crushed ginger: 1 tsp.
 Garlic paste:4 tsp.
 Red chilli: 6
 Black cardamom: 3
 Cinnamon: 2 sticks
 Clove: 3
 Salt: 1 1/2 tsp.
 Water: 1 1/2 cup.
 Green chilli: 2
 Coriander leaves, chopped: 1/2 cup

Directions

Heat oil in a wok , then add chopped onion.

Stir-fry, till it turns golden-brown in color.

Then add crushed ginger and garlic paste.

Stir it for 30 seconds.

Break red chilly into 2 halves and put it into the wok.

Now add the remaining spices, i.e. black cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, clove and salt.

Now saute it for a minute.

Stir in cut up mutton pieces, fry it without water for 5 minutes.

Now add water and allow the mutton to boil for 35-40 minutes.

Once the mutton becomes tender and water is soaked, add chopped coriander and chopped green chilly.

Serve it hot with bread or rice or bhakri.
