Gochujang Chicken Stir Fry

Chicken also pairs perfectly with a gochujang glaze. For a quick and healthy dinner, whip up a gochujang chicken stir fry.
The sweet heat of the sauce caramelizes beautifully on the chicken. Serve it over a bed of steaming rice for the ultimate comfort food.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, brown sugar, and garlic. Add chicken and let marinate 10 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet with oil over high heat. Add chicken and marinade and cook 2-3 minutes.
  • Add broccoli and bell pepper. Stir fry until chicken is cooked through, about 5 more minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor boosts, use garlic paste and gochugaru. Let the chicken marinate longer for more depth. Get creative with your choice of vegetables too.
