Tofu Gochujang Stir Fry

For a vegetarian gochujang stir fry, tofu makes a perfect protein. It soaks up the spicy-sweet sauce beautifully.

Try this easy tofu gochujang stir fry recipe:

Ingredients
  

  • 14 ounces extra firm tofu, drained, pressed and cubed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet with oil over medium-high heat. Add tofu and cook 5 minutes until browned.
  • Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Cook 2 minutes.
  • Add broccoli, snap peas, and bell pepper. Stir fry until crisp-tender, about 5 more minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, add some grated ginger, gochugaru, or garlic paste. Play around with the vegetables too. This versatile stir fry sauce works its magic on any combo.
