Gochujang Marinated Pork

This Korean-inspired pork is bursting with sweet, sticky and spicy flavors from the gochujang marinade. Grilled or pan seared, the tender pork takes on big flavors and becomes irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin or pork chops, sliced 1 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 Tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, vegetable oil, sesame oil and rice vinegar.
  • Place the pork slices in a shallow dish and coat well with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to overnight.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Oil lightly. Remove pork from the marinade and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
  • Serve with steamed rice and kimchi. Enjoy!
