Coconut Cod Curry

Prepare Coconut Cod Curry by following this simple recipe.

Add to favorites:


12 oz fillets of or cod.

3 hot chillies, chopped.

2 garlic cloves.

1 large onion, finely chopped.

1 stalk of lemongrass, finely chopped.

1 ½ cups of coconut milk.

2 tablespoons of cooking oil.

2 teaspoons of turmeric.

1 teaspoon of honey.

1 teaspoon of shrimp paste.

Juice of ½ a lemon.

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.

Whole coriander leaves.


1Dice the code into one-inch cubes.

2In a food processor, blend the chillies, garlic, onion, turmeric, honey and shrimp paste until smooth

3In a wok or suitably sized frying pan, heat the cooking up and cook the paste for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

4Add the coconut milk and chopped lemongrass, then bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes.

5Add the code and cook for another 7 minutes.

6Season with the lemon juice, salt and black pepper.

7Serve with whole coriander leaves.
