Ingredients
Directions
Following the same old cake baking techniques sift all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and whisk all the liquid ones in a separate bowl.
Now slowly add liquid ones into the dry ones along with walnuts and keep on mixing well for 3-4 minutes.
Do not over mix. Transfer the mixture to a cake tin.
Sprinkle the remaining walnuts on top and tap the tin 2-3 times to get the mixture settle.
In an 180 degree preheated oven bake this for 35-40 minutes.
Insert a toothpick to check before taking out from the oven.
Once out from oven let it cool on a wire rack. You can bring it out from the tin after half an hour and sprinkle grated chocolate on top.
Cooking tip: Flour makes the cake dry and oil, granulated sugar and other liquid ingredients make a moist cake so never adjust the quantity of oil or butter in a cake recipe or you will get a dry cake.
