Shrimp Boil Recipe

Ingredients

 1 quart of water
 2 ears fresh corn, cut in half
 1 pound unpeeled jumbo shrimp
 1/2 pound sausage
 1 onion
 3 cloves of garlic
 handful of red potatoes (if they are large three or four will do, if they are small grab a handful)
 salt (salt the water as if you would pasta)
 bay leaf

Directions

Bring the water to a boil in a large pot. Add in the old bay seasoning, salt and bay leaf.

Once the water is at a boil add in the onion, garlic and potatoes; cook 8 minutes. Add the sausage and cook five minutes.

Add corn and cook another 8 minutes.

Add in the shrimp and cook until pink about 5 minutes.

Drain (reserve juice for dipping bread if desired) Sprinkle more old bay seasoning if desired and serve.
